Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel.
   Hope you're well.
   Thank you for joining me.
I'm sat in a corner of my living room in the shade.
It's quite nice outside, curtain pulled, having a bit of a chill axe.
Well, I was just looking at this information about this recall of Parliament over the weekend.
You know, where Starmer's turned round and made a big song and dance about British steel and recall in Parliament to discuss it.
   Okay, let's break this down.
I get why Parliament gets recalled.
Because they have to discuss things of immediate national importance.
And it's something over the last 30 or 40 years that's only happened a handful of times.
I question why we're in this position in the first place.
   British steel.
Why is it British steel when you let the Chinese get their hands on it?
   Who made that decision?
Why did we get to that point in the first place?
That we've got to recall Parliament to discuss a situation of our own making.
   It's a bit ridiculous, isn't it?
You know, back in, you know, pre-Acts of Union days, everyone was responsible for their own affairs.
And you had a light-touch Parliament in place which dealt with things on everybody's behalf if it was something in the interest of everybody.
So I get the whole recall mechanism.
   Right, okay.
   But I have that question.
Why did the Chinese get their hands on it in the first place?
   Who allowed that?
And it's all well and good making, British steel.
And I heard on the news the other day, nobody's ever been able to make it work.
Usually when you make steel, you need to use steel to make other things.
Ships, buildings, and all of that sort of thing.
So where is that manufacturing process?
   Is it in the UK?
   Who knows?
But let's have a look at the reason Parliament was recalled.
   Why was it recalled?
And if you look at other things, very serious things, let's get the term right, irregular migration, illegal, is going on.
Parliament never gets recalled for that.
   Never gets discussed.
Here's another thing for you as well.
I put into Google earlier, how many violent crimes have occurred in London in the last 24 hours?
Because let's face it, that's a big problem.
That's worthy of recalling Parliament, discussing things to stop it.
Alright, I'm picking on London, but it's countrywide.
It couldn't give me specifics in 24 hours as of April 12th.
   But listen to this.
For context, Statistica reported 252,545 violent crimes in London for the year 2023-2024.
   That averages 692 per day.
Nearly 700 violent crimes every day in our nation's capital.
And they can't recall Parliament to discuss a major, major fucking problem.
But when it's an industry they've given to the Chinese, no problem.
   It doesn't work anymore.
   Government doesn't work anymore.
   Westminster doesn't work anymore.
   Time for a massive rethink.
And, you know, these violent crimes as well, according to a lot of them, involve bladed objects, shootings, young kids.
I mean, if you put in the number of trending news stories today in London, a lot of it's violence, violent behaviour, teenagers.
   It's a massive, massive problem.
Now, at the end of the day, these people in Westminster, and this is a fact that is forgotten.
We have the right to govern ourselves.
And we can't all do that.
So we pick someone from among our numbers to represent us in that place.
   To air our grievances.
To look out for our best interests.
This is the way it used to work.
This is the way it should happen.
   No longer.
   No longer.
   Not for a long time.
Things like this that I've got on my screen in front of me shouldn't and wouldn't be happening.
So I ask you, why are we called Parliament?
Let me know what you think in the comments.
   Check these videos out.
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.
I look forward to talking to you soon.
   Toodaloo.

They should have discussed it earlier. They knew the situation of the steel company, but we’re too busy running away after the announcement of the Grape gang’s enquiry cancellation.
2.@StephenFerguson-g8v(2025-04-12 16:55:24)
Great point. Well made Andy . ????????????
3.@nickbutler7935(2025-04-12 16:55:41)
How much are the greedy beggars going to slap on their expense accounts for the recall???
4.@SeanRidley-g7z(2025-04-12 16:56:39)
Double time all round and a free night on the piss.
5.@Nobody-s7b2p(2025-04-12 16:56:53)
STARMER THE MUSLIM RENT BOY SPEAKS BS. HE'S PREACHING PROPAGANDA TO BRISTISH/ENGLISH STEEL WORKERS. HOPEFULLY THEY DON'T BELIEVE A ISLAMIC COLLABORATOR.
6.@jamesjackson7844(2025-04-12 16:57:13)
They are worried about the grooming gangs scandal, all about the cover up !
7.@WilliamHBonnie1978(2025-04-12 16:58:00)
Whitehaven coal seam. Look into it.
8.@andyhemmings7363(2025-04-12 16:58:03)
It's not ridiculous, it's all the incompetent politicians and political parties have been since 1970. Every UK heavy industries and everything else like police, NHS, fishing, mining, oil, gas, electric etc has been destroyed by thick politicians
9.@magsathome65(2025-04-12 16:59:26)
We had ravenscraig it was The 1st to go, Motherwell was a ghost town It's took 30years to get this stage we are now.????????
10.@janiez1100L-u6s(2025-04-12 16:59:36)
The people who are suppose to represent the citizen's interests instead represent foreign entities. The UK no longer works on any level
11.@truth121(2025-04-12 17:00:24)
Definitely distraction.. Who took china money few weeks ago??
12.@fionagregory9147(2025-04-12 17:00:58)
Two tier Keir who likes it up the rear.
13.@danwilliams1511(2025-04-12 17:01:36)
How can you develop without a steel industry
14.@VultureUk-much(2025-04-12 17:02:16)
I think the main reason it was recalled and other things aren’t is simply the share holders
15.@johnday6392(2025-04-12 17:02:35)
On violent crime. Until the ''elites'' start to suffer from violent crimes, nothing will be done. We ordinary people
are what we have always been, cannon fodder! It's as simple as that!
16.@absolutelynotfunny7092(2025-04-12 17:03:11)
Well done .. get folks to critically think. clearly this is creating a "crisis". Bet my house ... chinese lobbying government for a bail-out. so recall to send msg to public ... bottom line .. going to ask British tax payers to bail out "british steel".
17.@DevilbyMoonlight(2025-04-12 17:03:23)
I grew up only a few miles from the biggest steel plant in Europe, for as long as I could remember, it has always run in limited capacity, the steel thing is a bit worrying as it hints of something that isn't obvious to most people... that is the raw materials of WAR!
18.@lazarus-y5w(2025-04-12 17:04:26)
Tsarmer needs the steel industry for the production of bladed weapons to maintain the level of violent crime in the UK.
19.@BritishParliamentStinks(2025-04-12 17:04:50)
We definitely need a national parliament to protect us from foreign entities that the british invite into our nation.
20.@Scrappydappydoo62(2025-04-12 17:05:56)
The head of the snake in London
21.@roydavis5613(2025-04-12 17:06:36)
Starmer should be recalled. By his constituents !!!!
22.@patsywilks3497(2025-04-12 17:07:27)
I think you are great at what you are doing keeping English people informed about what is going on which is a disgrace with these traitors in charge of England l think this man sorry a excuse for a human being the man does not know the meaning of truth
23.@michealspringett1340(2025-04-12 17:07:51)
they needed the o/t to boost there wages what a shower
24.@DaiElsan(2025-04-12 17:09:22)
Its all done for show. Labour has a majority that cannot be out voted in Parliament. So whatever happens today, British Steel is finished. Starmer will make a big announcement stating the majority view is that its pointless trying to find money to save British Steel when they are supporting so many 'worthy' oversea projects. Doing a Pontius Pilate.
25.@jimsmithcivils8459(2025-04-12 17:11:28)
Im from scunthorpe and still live there this all started in 1987 when tories privatised british steel
The tories allowed the sale to china in 2018
Labour have done the right thing to protect a critical national infrastructure
Hopefully water , electricity will follow
As an island not in europe we need to disconnect all our utilities and industry from foreign globalist owners this is first stage
Im 100% behind them
26.@poppyqueen111(2025-04-12 17:12:40)
Trying to show concern that they care.....we are not fooled ...
27.@richardwood160(2025-04-12 17:12:48)
Nothing for the grooming gangs can't write what they really are. Sends a message to carry on nothing to fear in way of reprimand. Government is sick in the head.
28.@Rangyp(2025-04-12 17:13:32)
I think we’ve been mugged off for decades maybe longer.
29.@poppyqueen111(2025-04-12 17:13:35)
Should have been kept best steel in the world another give away....????
30.@susanmills4843(2025-04-12 17:13:38)
Trying to deflect from the grape gangs bad publicity.
31.@JackCarman-l6d(2025-04-12 17:15:29)

37.@philf5043(2025-04-12 17:19:12)
Parlianent has over the years sold everthing of national importance to foriegn companies. Idiots at the top . Couldnt organise a p...up in a brewery. Why not privatise Mi5 and let Rusdia or China buy it ? We have no food security ! No fuel or energy security. No border security all courtesy of our wonderful government.
38.@terryrogers2590(2025-04-12 17:19:44)
Trying to grab votes before may elections, or the ones that are allowed to go ahead, wouldn't believe a word that starmer says
39.@paulyoung4422(2025-04-12 17:19:48)

He wants to look like the saviour lol
42.@met54(2025-04-12 17:20:30)
Most likely some politicians have investments tied up in the Scunthorpe plant, and if it closes they stand to lose out. Politicians will always be galvanised into action when something happens that might affect their bank balance. £££ Kerching!
43.@williebobs3830(2025-04-12 17:21:08)
Andy. Please DON'T use their woke terms like a sheep. It's ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
44.@Troy-McLore(2025-04-12 17:21:49)
That stat is shocking !
I knew it was bad but that, that is seriously bad !
45.@jimsmithcivils8459(2025-04-12 17:21:53)
This issue is 100% more important than minority rape gang issue all these others are trying to push its affects millions of our citizens
If we loose steel production facility this country is over
We need to be as self sufficient as possible
Now we are on our own out of europe etc no trade deals to buy steel we would at the mercy of all countries
The future of our country depends on it
46.@PrairieRattler-cj7mh(2025-04-12 17:22:26)
It's sickening what the libs have done to so many countries. In spite of that... I hope you all have a nice weekend.
47.@rickshaw2779(2025-04-12 17:23:04)
I am starting to believe it's best for me not to think about it at all. It is so depressing to see the country run by traitors and politicians who hate the UK and the traditional British way of life.
48.@shugieshugied2269(2025-04-12 17:23:07)
Boris Johnson sold British Steel to China in 2019.

Crime in London, and other cities, has been problematic since the Industrial Revolution, but the Tory austeriry from 2010 that cut front line police numbers by a lot, combined with their "efficiency" cuts to justice and prison services have made the problems significantly worse in the last few years.

This is what you get when you let the rich boys run the government.
49.@Jester-Riddle(2025-04-12 17:23:10)
Starmer's Chinese handlers have told him they want their money back from British Steel, so the British taxpayer must pay them for it ... !
50.@hatchyhatchy4827(2025-04-12 17:24:16)
There is nothing left look at any city near yourselves wakey wakey!!
