Hi, welcome to another episode of Hot Takes.
With the arrest and hopefully subsequent trial of Dan Norris, the Somerset MP, it seems likely that Jacob Rees-Mogg will be making a return to politics.
I think the good people of Somerset would vote him in in an instant.
But that's not a bad thing.
   He's quite a good MP.
And, you know, I actually think he's just so terribly posh.
He's almost comical, but I do like him.
Anyway, he has been interviewed and in the interview, he says that someone else may very well be making a big return to politics.
For you see, having watched Trump return to the White House, someone else might have thought, ooh, I can do that and all.
   Yes, we're talking about Boris.
Jacob says that there are many in the Tory party who now regret ditching their former leader.
They're saying that their fortunes have taken somewhat of a tumble ever since getting rid of him.
And they'd be happy to see him back.
   Well, who knows?
Some may well be, some may not.
Certainly, if he does come back and there's plenty of opportunities for him to do so, there'd be one person deeply worried.
That, of course, would be Kemi Badenoch.
She knows her job is on the line.
And if Boris does come back, it would be like the return of the Messiah.
He's here to save us all over again.
Oh, we live in interesting times, don't we?
   Don't we, don't you think?
   Thanks very much.
   Bye.
   Bye.

50.@Devonshireoldfart(2025-04-13 11:35:02)
I'm from north Devon, JRM was almost next door, actually a polite, very smart and decent MP, despite the propaganda and threats from the liberal Marxist parasites. He got complacent and voters succumbed to the lefty lies.
